RIPON — For the seventh time in three years, the Ripon Police Department is offering a prescription drug take-back day.
Held in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Administration, the event fights pill abuse and theft by letting people rid their homes of potentially expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications.
The service is free and anonymous; no questions are asked.
Medications for disposal should be brought to the front parking lot of the Ripon Police Department, 259 N. Wilma Ave., between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
