OAKDALE — The Oakdale Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations of individuals, businesses and community organizations for its 68th annual awards dinner.
The awards honor those who have worked unselfishly by dedicating their time in 2013 to improving the quality of life in Oakdale by helping others.
The Small Business of the Year Award honors businesses that have dedicated time to improving the quality of life in Oakdale and demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas: customer service, community spirit, innovative products or services, or leadership.
The Citizen of the Year Award, Junior Achievement Award and Community Service Award recognize residents who have dedicated their time to improving the quality of life in Oakdale and the greater community by helping others.
The dinner is Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave.
