Column’s claims utterly foolish

October 11, 2013

Regarding Thomas Friedman’s column “Principle of democracy is at stake” (Oct. 3): The first paragraph should tell you he is an utter biased fool. He made a statement that the tea party, a minority group, is holding the country hostage where he claimed majority rules in our democratic society. If this were true, we would not have Obamacare with a majority.

Read the Pledge of Allegiance. Not one mention of a democracy. But “Republic for which it stands” is for all of us to recite.

These nitwit individuals that get a platform in media to spew garbage are a dime a dozen and it is time to speak out against revisionism.
