Bird houses, plants at Jamestown sale

October 7, 2013

The Central Sierra Audubon Society will offer bird houses for sale at the California Native Plant Society’s fall plant sale this weekend. Houses for bats, owls, and bluebirds and other small bird species will be offered, as well as books about birds and bird lists for the local area. The bird houses have been built by members of the local Audubon Society. Proceeds from the sales fund the society’s scholarships awarded to local students. The sale will be from 9 a.m. to noon at Rocca Park on Main Street in Jamestown.
