Spaghetti dinner

The Sons of Thunder CMA will have its annual spaghetti dinner from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday at Christian Life Center, 650 E. Olive Ave. Tickets are $7. Eat in or take out. Call (209) 947-5269.

Benefit yard sale

The Atwater High School and Atwater Rotary Club will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdayat the Atwater Methodist Church, Bellevue Road and Linden Street. Proceeds go to food for Thanksgiving baskets for needy families in the Atwater-Winton area.

Building Material Sale

Indian basketry exhibit

Driver improvement classes

Merced College Office of Continuing Education will hold Mature Driver Improvement Classes for residents older than 55 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 17 at the Atwater Community Center, 760 Bellevue Road, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 13 at the Merced Tri-College, Building 5.
