STANISLAUS COUNTY — Stanislaus County Clerk Recorder and Registrar of Voters Lee Lundrigan expects to begin mailing booklets and ballots to voters this week, she said in a news release.
Sample ballot booklets should begin to be mailed Monday, and both permanent vote-by-mail and all-mail precinct ballots will begin to be mailed Thursday. U.S. citizens may continue to register to vote until 15 days before the election. Voter registration will be accepted through Oct. 21.
Stanislaus County has 209,074 registered voters, of which 208,121 are eligible to vote in this district election, including 125,384 permanent vote-by-mail voters and 2,251 all-mail precinct voters. Candidates who wish to pay for and obtain lists of voters who have returned their vote-by-mail or all-mail ballots to the elections office may do so each Tuesday and Thursday.
