TID election graffiti shameful

September 18, 2013

Shame on those vandals who have been spray-painting graffiti on our local roads in relation to the upcoming Turlock Irrigation District board of directors elections. I have so far seen two instances (multiple markings) of the graffiti and think it’s very sad that a political campaign would resort to such a low in order to try to win votes.

Since the graffiti I have seen seems to be directed against TID board member Joe Alamo, I would hope his opponent would come out and publicly disassociate himself from the vandals and declare that actions such as these have no place in a campaign.
