— A woman killed earlier this week in an apparent hit-and-run crash in Merced was identified Wednesday as Ivy Spratling.

Spratling, 51, was the victim of a vehicle-vs.-pedestrian crash Sunday night near Yosemite Park Way at the Bradley overpass, the Merced County Coroner’s Office confirmed.

Merced police said the driver of a “small compact vehicle” left the scene before they arrived.

Spratling was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Merced, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

Lt. Tom Trindad said Wednesday that no arrests have been made in the case and police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver.
