Senate bill attacks Catholic Church

The Legislature is intent on destroying the Roman Catholic Church. Senate Bill 131 passed the Senate, previously passed the Assembly and has been sent to the governor.

This would again open a one-year window of opportunity for victims of childhood sexual abuse to sue religious organizations and other private nonprofit groups that employed abusers. This would be a one-year window for those who missed the previous statute of limitations.
