— Merced College is looking for instructors interested in teaching classes for its well-attended community services program.

Community services classes include subjects such as arts, crafts, cooking, dance, music, health and fitness and children's classes.

There are opportunities to teach classes related to photography, sports and outdoor recreation, and many other subjects.

Spring classes will begin in January and run through June, according to college officials.

Anyone interested in teaching a community services class should complete and return a proposal form to community services by Sept. 27.

The form is available at www.mercedcommunityservices.com.
