EVAN VUCCI — The Associated Press

As a lifetime Republican, business owner and veteran, I have deep interest in the actions of my government, Congress and our local representation.

Anxious to hear your views on the critical issues facing our country, including Obamacare, the impact of the Obama administration on foreign policy, the budget, upcoming midterm elections, etc., I have searched the local news and Internet for any opportunity to hear you speak during this congressional recess. However, in reviewing your website and looking for any other public information on your constituent communications during this recess, I note there are none.

In addition, I note that the information on your position on issues, the economy and jobs all contain outdated references from 2011, 2012, etc. The only recent press release I found on your website is in Spanish. As a U.S. citizen, I speak and read English (and actually several other foreign languages), but I do not speak or read Spanish!

I would expect an elected official to have a more dedicated interest in communicating with his constituency than appears to be demonstrated by you. I look forward to hearing from you on the critical matters facing our nation!
