Info: Mended Hearts is a national nonprofit volunteer organization offering support and the gift of hope to heart patients, caregivers and their families. The support groups help people understand that there can be a rich, rewarding life after a heart procedure. Members are there to listen, share their experiences and discuss matters relating to lifestyle changes, depression, recovery and treatment. Guest speakers from the medical profession and related industries will talk about heart conditions, preparing for surgery and dealing with recovery.
