Modesto — Kaiser Permanente will hold its 16th annual community health fair, Neighbors in Health, Sunday at Modesto Centre Plaza, adjacent to the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Modesto.
The free event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Neighbors in Health provides health services and preventive screenings at no cost to uninsured and underinsured families and individuals.
Among the services offered are blood pressure checks, BMI/body fat testing, cholesterol and glucose screenings, TDAP injections, mammogram screening, school and sports physicals, vision exams and screenings for skin damage by the sun.
Also at the fair will be the Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre, healthy cooking demonstrations, relaxation and wellness activities, school giveaways and more.
Language interpreters will be available to assist non-English speakers.
