Turlock police quick to respond

July 28, 2013

Upon returning home, my wife accidentally hit the panic button instead of the off button on our remote home alarm keypad. We heard the alarm go off but did not know why.

I entered the security code and turned off the alarm, then called the alarm company and was told what we had done. The phone then rang and it was the Police Department informing me that there were officers in front of my house that wanted me to come out and talk to them.

I went out and explained to the officer what we had done and he said he wanted to talk to my wife to make sure she was all right. I observed another officer outside.

The police reacted to a panic alarm quickly, efficiently and with great professionalism. Our great thanks, knowing we are protected by such a great police force in Turlock.
