Man arrested on check forgery charges

— Police in Turlock arrested a 37-year-old man after he allegedly tried to cash a forged check.

According to police, Daniel Rodenberg entered the Bank of America on East Main Street at about 4:45 p.m. Monday and tried to cash the check.

Authorities were called to the bank, where they reportedly found Rodenberg in possession of methamphetamine.

Officers arrested Rodenberg on charges of burglary, passing a stolen forged check and possession of methamphetamine.
