Motorcyclist killed in Highway 152 accident

— A 60-year-old from Los Banos died Saturday evening after crashing his motorcycle on Highway 152, authorities said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the man, whose name was not released, was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle east on 152 east of the Romero Visitors Center when the accident occurred at 7:48 p.m. The rear wheel of the motorcycle began to wobble and the rider was unable to maintain control.

The motorcycle went into the center divide and overturned, ejecting the rider, who sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have not determined what caused the wheel to wobble.
