Today is an especially happy holiday for the Turlock FC United under-12 boys soccer team. The team won its second consecutive Spring Cross Regional title last month in Davis after winning its division with an 8-1-1 record.

The Turlock-based team, which also features players from Modesto and Ceres, did not allow a goal in the NorCal Premier League tournament. FC United shut out Ballistic United of Pleasanton 4-0 in the quarterfinal, Santa Clara Sporting 1-0 in the semifinal, and defeated Inter Rage Academy of Sacramento 3-0 in the championship.
