June 27, 2013

Will Swanner made sure the Modesto Nuts kept their second-half winning streak alive with a two-run home run with two outs in the top of the ninth inning to lift the Nuts to a 4-3 victory and a three-game sweep against the San Jose Giants on Wednesday at Municipal Stadium.

Mac Williamson had put the Giants on top 3-2 with a three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. The Giants were swept in a three-game series for the first time this season.
