Two men rob U.S. Bank in Turlock

June 20, 2013

Turlock police were looking Thursday evening for two men who robbed a U.S. Bank branch that afternoon.

Wearing masks, the men entered the bank at 427 E. Olive Ave. and demanded cash, according to officer Mayra Lewis.

Police responded to the bank about 12:20 p.m. after the robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Both men were described as black men in their 20s.

One was about 6 feet tall, 180 to 190 pounds, with dark brown eyes and a deep voice. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweat shirt, a white bandana over his face, dark blue jeans and white gloves.

The second man was about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a stocky build and dark eyes. He was wearing a dark-colored ski mask or dark bandana over his face, with a dark colored "beanie" knit cap, a gray sweat shirt, a white shirt beneath the sweat shirt, blue jeans, white shoes and dark gloves.

Lewis would not say if the men were armed during the robbery. There was one customer in the bank at the time, she said.
