A man arrested in Modesto last September after allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old girl on a bus was arrested again after allegedly attacking a nurse at the Napa State Hospital where he is housed.

Last fall, a group of homeless men tackled and subdued Kevin Long after the alleged assault, which came a day after he was released from prison for another crime.

Bay Area television station KPIX reported that Napa State Hospital police arrested Long, 38, on Sunday after he attacked a nurse, who called for help using an electronic alarm attached to her name tag.

Long is facing several charges including false imprisonment, rape and attempted rape, according to KPIX.
