Modesto banks should have robbery warnings

June 18, 2013

Banks in Modesto are constantly being robbed, putting many innocent citizens in harm's way. The banks have made it very easy for criminals to just walk inside the building and hand over a note to receive money. Luckily, nobody has been hurt in recent bank robberies.

I think Modesto City Council should force local banks to install flashing warning lights outside of their buildings to alert bystanders that a bank robbery is in progress, along with a sign saying, "Don't enter the bank."

It's just a matter of time before some bank robber gets nervous and starts shooting innocent citizens while trying to make his/her getaway. Banks should have an obligation to warn and protect innocent citizens.
