Police seek suspect in north Modesto bank robbery

On Thursday, (06-13-13), at approximately 10:12 a.m. Modesto Police were called to the Rabobank, located at 1400 Standiford Avenue, for a bank robbery. Employees of the bank said a black male adult entered the bank and approached the teller counter brandishing a handgun and demanding money. Once the suspect was given money he fled the scene. No one was injured during the robbery.

— Modesto police are investigating a bank robbery in north Modesto Thursday morning.

According to reports, a man entered the Rabobank at 1400 Standiford Ave. at 10:12 a.m. He approached the teller, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the man left. Nobody was injured during the incident, police said.

The suspect is described as black, in his early 20s, wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes.
