Gunfire statistic has spiritual significance

June 11, 2013

In response to "What Clinton said about Benghazi" (May 30, Letters): In the last paragraph, she says, "... more Americans have died from gunfire since 1968 than from all our country's warfare since 1775."

I did not know this statistic but find it so interesting. Could it be that more people have been killed by other people since 1968 because it was about that time God was taken out of our schools, etc.?

When God was paramount in our country, there was less killing. Coincidence? I think not.
