Info: The camp will introduce incoming sixth- through ninth-graders to the video game design industry using the latest in game software development kits. Students will learn indoor and outdoor level design, visual scripting, artificial intelligence, animation, graphics and more. Cost is $100. Info: The sixth annual Keeping Time conference will explore issues involved with restoring old buildings and other sites. Speakers will cover the politics of preservation, American Indian cultural sites, Gold Rush water systems and successes in Grass Valley. Participants will tour the Curtin Mansion, a 1897 home in Sonora that recently was restored. The $35 fee includes lunch. Registration deadline is June 14.
