— Former Manteca resident Lindsey Pavao has gone from the TV talent show "The Voice" to being a voice for — and on — a Sacramento radio station.

Singer-songwriter Pavao, a second-season semifinalist on Christina Aguilera's team of talent, has joined the staff of RADIO 94.7.

She will help discover new music for the station, manage its social media presence, and introduce new music and artists on the air and at station events and concerts.

Pavao has continued to pursue a career as a singer and performer; she has an upcoming CD release, "The Symptom."

She went to Sierra High School in Manteca before attending the University of California at Davis.
