If you borrow, pay it back

May 25, 2013

In reference to "Student loan debt burdens young workers" (May 19, Page D-5), nowhere in the article about student loans was it even mentioned that the money was borrowed and spent. All it talked about was how hard it would be on the poor, unfortunate former student to pay back the money they owe.

These are going to be the same people who shamelessly abandon their mortgages when times get tough. Here's a thought: Don't borrow if you don't want to pay it back. Or work first and then go to school.

When times get too tough for a vacation, just think back to how easy it was to spend that free money.
