UPDATE: Missing Patterson girl found in Modesto shelter unharmed

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department is currently seeking the public's assistance in locating 19-year old Sydni Nicole Sherrill of Patterson, CA. Sherrill was reported missing on Friday, 05/24/2013, by her family. Sherrill was last scene at home in the 800 block of Miraggio Drive in Patterson on Friday 05/24/2013 at about 1 p.m.


UPDATE: With the public's help, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Deputies have located 19-year old Sydni Nicole Sherrill, who was reported missing on Friday from her home in Patterson.

Sydni was located at a local Modesto shelter after someone reported seeing her there. Sydni was not harmed or injured and was in good health.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department is asking for help in finding a developmentally disabled 19-year-old reported missing Friday.

Sydni Nicole Sherrill was last seen at home in the 800 block of Miraggio Drive in Patterson on Friday about 1 p.m.

Her family reported her missing. She is considered an at-risk missing person as she has the mental capacity of a young child, the department said.

Sherrill is described as a black woman, 5 foot 6 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown eyes and black shoulder-length straight hair. She does not own or have access to a vehicle and is believed to have left on foot, investigators said.

Anyone with information about Sydni Nicole Sherrill or her whereabouts is urged to call 911 or the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department nonemergency line at (209) 552-2468.
