Traumatized after pit bull attack in Modesto park

May 21, 2013

Recently, I was walking my small dog in my neighborhood park at Rumble and Sherwood. Out of nowhere came running and charging a loose pit bull. Then the horrific attack happened.

This pit bull was not even on a leash; there were two homeless men with the dog. Both myself and my dog were attacked. My dog spent two days at the vet while this pit bull continues to run free!

My dog and I are traumatized and no longer feel safe in our local park. What can be done to regain the safety in our parks?
