4 deaths in Benghazi vs. 450K from tobacco

May 11, 2013

There are certainly many areas of concern regarding the loss of American lives. Tobacco products claim 450,000 lives a year; obesity causes 190,000 premature deaths yearly; errors in hospital care gets another 98,000 annually; guns, cars, and drugs combine for about 200,000. These don't even include fossil fuel pollution, and the billions spent on illnesses and death.

Why are the four American deaths at Benghazi depleting all of the GOP oxygen, since 4,600 other Americans lost their lives in workplace settings last year?

They could be addressing any of the aforementioned concerns, but for two reasons — corporate profits are validation for the loss of human life and Hillary Clinton.
