Beware of pouting unions after Modesto vote

May 6, 2013

Last month, the Memphis police union got upset about not passing a safety tax and started to put up billboards all over the city saying "DANGER: Enter at your own risk; this city does not support public safety," which is now driving away visitors and costing people who work in the tourism and hospitality industry.

The Memphis police union is pouting about not receiving more money and is now damaging the city even more.

I think this is something Modesto needs to prepare for as we have our safety tax vote in November. Vote "no" on the safety tax.
