Keep the Merced River wild and scenic

May 4, 2013

I agree with John Buckley ("Pressure is on Yosemite to cram more people into it," April 25) that Yosemite National Park officials should make the health of the park ecosystem, the Merced River corridor and the visitor experience the priority when creating a new Merced River Management Plan.

More development and more people aren't the answer for this amazing ecosystem and natural treasure. Uphold the Wild and Scenic Rivers designation and remove/reject more development along the Merced River.
