Info: Woodland West Community Neighborhood will be holding a Potluck In The Park featuring grilled hot dogs for the kids. Neighbors are asked to bring a dish to share, their own beverages and something to sit on. The aim is simply to have some fun at the park; this is not a Neighborhood Watch meeting. CINCO DE MAYO EVENT

Info: One Church is hosting a Cinco de Mayo event featuring family-friendly Cinco de Mayo festivities including food, bounce houses, raffles and prizes, a live mariachi band and live wrestling in a full size wrestling ring. VETERANS JOB FAIR AND MEDICAL OUTREACH

Info: Veterans job fair sponsored by the California Employment Development Department. The fair is open to everyone. Admission is free to employers and job seekers. In addition to job inquiries, the VA Palo Alto Health Care System will have the Military Veterans Medical Outreach van on site. The public is invited to attend. Job seekers are encouraged to dress for success. Be prompt. And bring copies of your résumé. All employers are invited to participate if you have job openings. CARNIVORE SEMINAR

Where: Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Jack Knight Hall, 1170 California Highway 4

Info: Paul Ustach of San Joaquin Delta College will provide a free seminar on "The Large Carnivores of Big Trees State Park." The talk will focus on the Central Sierra Nevada's coyotes, bobcats and mountain lions. Ustach will discuss the animals' history, and specifically the adaptations for finding, catching and killing prey.
