Downtown Modesto farmers market starts Thursday hours

— The Modesto Certified Farmers Market kicked off its Thursday hours downtown today.

The market, which operates on 16th Street between H and I streets, has been open for a month on Saturdays but now has moved to its regular twice-weekly schedule.

Crowds can enjoy early-season treats

The Modesto Certified Farmers Market runs 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays and Thursdays. The season runs to late fall. To learn more, visit www.modestocfm.com.
