April 12, 2013

— An Oakdale man suffered a broken ankle and other injuries when the motorcycle he was riding crashed near Jamestown Thursday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol said Keith Ray Crawford, 49, was riding a 1997 Honda south on Sims Road near Highway 120 when he took a turn too fast.

Crawford lost control of the motorcycle, which fell over, throwing him to the ground. A helicopter took Crawford to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
