Firearms support is strong in valley

April 8, 2013

While Sen. Dianne Feinstein means well when she submitted her gun control legislation and claims she has broad support with voters, I would challenge her to travel to the Central Valley of California and speak to citizens that are not in her liberal constituency. Look around and you see people buying guns and ammo to protect themselves against criminals and an overbearing government.

Passing laws that are clearly against the Second Amendment does not register with the liberals. None of the proposed legislation would have stopped the killings.

Individuals that restrict or try to make it illegal to buy ammo or firearms cannot be trusted and if the citizenry ever had to stand up to a tyrannical government, they would need firearms that had a capacity to match firearms that would be used against them. Feinstein shows she does not believe in the Second Amendment by her actions.
