Regarding debt reduction measures for Denair school district: They are cutting back and even had to let their superintendent go. My father-in-law is a retired superintendent. I know he has offered to step up and help his former district with no compensation when they had money problems. He recognizes the blessing of receiving a nice pension for as long as he lives and out of that gratitude still wants to give back.
Surely we must have someone locally that would be willing to stand in the gap to keep the Denair district functioning until their crisis is behind them.
