Man shot in leg at Modesto's Mancini Park

MODESTO -- Authorities were investigating a shooting Wednesday afternoon near Mancini Park in south Modesto, where a man suffered a gunshot wound in his leg.

The shooting was reported about 4:10 p.m. in the 1200 block of Symphony Way, just east of Herndon Road.

Modesto police officers were looking for a suspect vehicle in the area.

No further information was available.
