Strange bedfellows, indeed

The cooperation between the leftists and Islamists is incomprehensible. While both are strictly anti-American, the similarity ends there. The leftists wish to challenge and overthrow all types of authority, while Islamists attempt to establish supreme authority over all. Leftists support and promote special and extreme gay rights, while Islamists demand punishment, including the death penalty, for all homosexuals.

Leftists attempt to eliminate all influence from organized religion while Islamists exert political power under the guise of religion. The left at least claims to protect women's rights while Islamists prevent women from gaining any type of rights.

The leftist media is champing at the bit to release articles on every scandal and secret of the Catholic Church. However, the same media does its best to prevent the publishing of any article that presents Islam in a negative light. Hence, the new terms of "workplace violence" and "manmade disaster."

The president's credibility is equal to that of the media and those proposing a tax for global warming. As summer approaches, call it global warming. In the winter, call it climate change. The leftists and Islamists have one other common goal: silence their critics.
