Parents, keep track of your children

On March 9 around 9 p.m., I heard a popping noise out on the street. I went outside and witnessed two young men lighting firecrackers in the neighborhood mailboxes on Beyer Park Drive. When I yelled, they ran into the cul de sac adjacent to the mailboxes.

Parents, please pay attention to what your children are doing, where they are and what they have in their possession. Luckily, this did not start a fire but it could have destroyed mail and even injured these teens. I suspect that they may live in the area near Beyer High.
