Kudos to the Modesto Gospel Mission and The Salvation Army for their decision to team up on the day-use center for the homeless that was recommended by the Blue Ribbon Committee appointed by our understanding and compassionate City Council.
Even though our City Council decided to turn a deaf ear to the advice of their own committee, it is nice to know that someone heard them.
