The Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to terms on a one-year contract with center Brad Meester on Tuesday.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Meester, who turns 36 on March 23, has been a rock on the offensive line for the Jaguars since the team drafted him in the second round out of Northern Iowa in 2000. He has played a franchise-record 193 games and started all 16 games in each of the last four seasons.

He is the only player in team history to have played for all three previous Jaguars head coaches -- Tom Coughlin, Jack Del Rio and Mike Mularkey -- and now Gus Bradley, Jacksonville's newest head coach.

"That's a great deal," said Bradley. "I think he knows the vision that we want to take this. I could sense it from the start that he was all in. I hoped it was a matter of time. It's a credit to (General Manager) Dave (Caldwell) and him to get that done. He's been on successful teams, so he knows what it's about. He gets it."
