JAMESTOWN -- The Tuolumne County Coroner's office today released the names of four people involved in a Saturday afternoon accident that killed three.
Killed in the Highway 108 accident were Alan Lee Maderos, 59, and Kathleen Elaine Maderos, 65, both of Manteca and Claude Gosselin, 51, of Roseville. Nancy Gallegos, 57, a passenger in Gosselin's car, suffered major injuries and is in critical condition at a Modesto hospital, according to Tuolumne County Sheriff's Sgt. James Oliver.
The accident occurred at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, just west of the Highway 120 split on Highway 108. According to the California Highway Patrol, Alan Mederos was driving a 2000 Toyota east when for an unknown reason he allowed the car to drift into the oncoming lane, striking a 1999 Acura driven by Gosselin
