RIPON -- Police in Ripon recovered drugs and weapons during a traffic stop last week that resulted in the arrest of a Ripon man.
According to Sgt. Steve Merchant, officers Mario Ysit and Rachel Beuttler were on patrol in the area of Frontage Road and North Stockton Avenue when they stopped a black Chevrolet Trailblazer near the Blu-Lite Liquor Store.
In the vehicle, officers found 121 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $2,400, packaging materials, cash and a switchblade knife, manufactured to resemble a firearm.
