Modesto general plan meeting set

March 16, 2013

— Modesto’s Planning Commission on Monday is holding the first of three workshops to solicit public input regarding amending the city’s general plan.

The general plan serves as a blueprint for a city’s growth and development. The amendment is focused on the land use and transportation portions of the general plan. Monday’s workshop is at the Petersen Event Center, 720 12th St., and starts at 6 p.m.

The other workshops are April 15 at 6 p.m. at the Davis High School Little Theater, 1200 W. Rumble Road, and June 3 at 6 p.m. at the King-Kennedy Memorial Center, 601 S. Martin Luther King Drive.
