Sheriff: Modesto man found with 27 pounds of marijuana

MERCED -- A Modesto driver was arrested Thursday after agents with the Merced County Sheriff's STAR Team allegedly found him with 27 pounds of processed marijuana inside his vehicle.

The incident was reported at 1:30 p.m. in the southeast Merced County area, according to Sgt. Kevin Blake.
