MODESTO -- Modesto police are looking for a dark-colored car in connection with a drive-by shooting that left four people hurt Thursday night.
According to Lt. Jeramy Young, clues are scarce in the incident and no arrests have been made. The shooting took place just after 8 p.m. in the 1400 block of Western Way, a block south of Tuolumne Boulevard.
The victims were standing in front of a home there when the suspect or suspects drove by and opened fire, police said. Three people suffered minor injuries; the fourth person was in serious condition, Young said Friday. "We have not ruled out gang activity."
