TURLOCK -- Turlock Police arrested a woman on a charge of driving under the influence after she drove through traffic barricades while officers investigated a fatal accident.
According to police, Marie Harter, 50, drove through the barricades and through several traffic cones on North Walnut at 12:48 a.m. Wednesday. Officers were on scene investigating a fatal collision that occurred at the intersection of North Walnut and Monte Vista Tuesday evening.
Police stopped Harter and found she had been drinking, authorities said.
