FOUNDATION EXPANDS AUTISM GRANT PROGRAM: The Carlos Vieira Foundation has added two more counties to its grant program to help families with autism. Families in Tuolumne and Mariposa counties can apply for grants up to $500 through the foundation for an item or service that directly helps a child with autism. Stanislaus, Merced and Madera counties already are in the Direct Help Program. The foundation's goal is to be in San Joaquin and Fresno counties by the end of the year.
