The board also will discuss a possible raise for Stanislaus County Superintendent Tom Changnon, based on a salary comparison showing his $186,000 annual compensation is the lowest of medium-size counties. CERES TO MEET: The Ceres Unified School District Board will meet at 7 p.m. today in the district boardroom, 2503 Lawrence St. Trustees will vote on raising all employee salaries 2.5 percent retroactively for the 2012-13 school year, an estimated $1.5 million annual cost. The agenda report notes Ceres staff took an 8.5 percent cut in 2010. The board will consider refinancing a bond to save an estimated $10 million over its life.
