OAKDALE — A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possessing a large amount of narcotics intended for sale, authorities said.
Oakdale police Sgt. Brian Shimmel said a search of a home in the 1100 block of West G Street turned up 246 grams of methamphetamine, 9.5 grams of black tar heroin, 22.2 grams of cocaine, more than 2 ounces of pot and prescription drugs.
The suspect is a validated Norteño gang member, Shimmel said.
Assisting in the search and arrest were deputies with the Stanislaus County home detention team.
